Incentive Information

$6.00 PER SQFT ($1,500 MAX REBATE)
Window rebates are paid by the square foot of window replaced.

Federal tax credits may also be available for residential efficiency upgrades. Additional restrictions may apply. Visit the Department of Energy and energystar.gov for more information.

*Grays Harbor PUD reserves the right to revise program rules and guidelines, including discontinuing all or part of the available incentives at any time and without prior notice. All projects once approved, will be subject to the guidelines and incentives in place at the time of approval.
Eligibility
• Existing single family or manufactured home located within GHPUD's service area.
• Home primarily uses electric heat. GHPUD shall verify weather-related electric heating use.
• Rebate for windows is only available when replacing single pane any frame windows or double pane with metal frame only.
• Increasing window size is not allowed unless when required by building code.
• Pre-approval of the project is required, including a preliminary inspection of the home by a GHPUD energy advisor.
• New construction projects, areas required by building code to insulate, and unheated areas are not eligible.
• Participant is authorized to make home improvements.

Requirements
• Windows installed must have an NFRC rated U-Value of 0.30 or lower.
• Sliding glass doors installed must have an NFRC rated U-Value of 0.35 or lower.
• Window installations must comply with the current BPA Residential Weatherization Specifications.
• Participant authorizes Grays Harbor PUD to conduct quality inspections to ensure program specifications are followed.
• Installation must be completed within 60 days of notice to proceed.
Steps to Participate
1. Confirm eligibility for your program.
2. Schedule a Free Home Energy audit with the Grays Harbor PUD Energy Services Dept. by calling 360-538-6383.
3. Find approved contractors and get project cost estimates; we suggest getting at least 3 quotes.
4. Complete your project’s rebate application and submit along with quotes to GHPUD for pre-authorization.
5. After GHPUD approves your project, have your contractor proceed with your installation.
6. Once installation is complete, contact GHPUD to schedule the final inspection.
7. Submit all required project documentation to GHPUD.
8. GHPUD will authorize rebate payment upon final approval.
