Eligibility
• Must be a commercial-metered business or industrial facility served by Grays Harbor PUD.• Projects must be submitted on Bonneville Power Administration’s Commercial/Industrial Lighting calculator. Refer to the Northwest Trade Ally Network for Commercial and Industrial Lighting for contractors skilled in lighting retrofit or new construction design.
• Projects are required to obtain a minimum energy savings of 40% reduction in annual kilowatt hours used.
• Measure eligibility is based on the Bonneville Power Administration’s (BPA) list of deemed incentives for lighting retrofits.
• Lighting equipment must be in accordance with BPA and Grays Harbor PUD standards.
• Incentives cannot exceed 50% of the total project cost. Note: Total project cost is a reflection of labor, materials, permits, recycling fees, and other associated costs.
• All hazardous materials associated with the retrofit project must be properly disposed in accordance with federal and state laws.
• Necessary permits for the project must be obtained and proper disposal of hazardous waste is required.
• The production, processing, or sale of marijuana is prohibited by federal law, and federally owned, controlled or administered resources may not be purposefully provided to facilitate the commission of a federal offense. Energy Efficiency incentive funding may not be used for these facilities.
• Request to Pay Customer Rebate to Contractor form must be completed prior to project approval. This form authorizes GHPUD to issue a two-party check sent to the customer to sign over to the contractor upon satisfactory completion of the work. Conditions apply.
