Duct Sealing Program – Save money, increase comfort, improve air quality

Duct Sealing Program – Save money, increase comfort, improve air quality logo
Ductwork that moves air to-and-from a forced air furnace, central air conditioner, or heat pump is often a big energy waster! Sealing and insulating ducts can improve the efficiency of your heating and cooling system by as much as 20%.

This upgrade involves having a trained PTCS (Performance Tested Comfort Systems) professional seal air leaks using mastic sealant or metal tape and insulating all accessible ducts (such as those in attics, crawlspaces, unfinished basements, and garages). Grays Harbor PUD is here to help you seal your ducts and we’ve created a program that will help you get it done right – and we’ll help you pay for it!
  • Make sure your heated/cooled air goes where it’s supposed to go!
  • Reduce hot and cold spots and have a more comfortable home.
  • This upgrade can pay for itself very quickly.
  • Improve the quality of your indoor air by sealing out contaminants that enter your living areas from attics, crawlspaces and garages as a result of leaky ductwork.
